Shepard Smith Goofs on Gretchen on Fox Friends! up on 09/22/

Shepard Smith brought that rarest of things to Fox News yesterday: amid the cacophony over the Tea Parties, he actually committed an act of journalism. In the process, he also managed to also bring a voice of sanity to the nonstop right-wing shrieking at Fox over the recent Department of Homeland Security bulletin about the possible rise of right-wing extremism. For your own information, Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher (so called Joe the Plumber) is a recently divorced poor fellow who earns $40,000.00 per year, and he is not at all a licensed plumber which he ought to be in order to be rightly called a plumber. He also owes the State of Ohio $1,200.00 in back taxes. The guy is poor and cannot afford to buy a business even if he dreams of it. The small business he works for makes $100,000.00 income a year, not $250,000.00. Mr Wurzelbacher said he wanted to buy the business from his employer, which is a lie since he can't afford it, and furthermore he cannot operate the business in Ohio if he is not a licensed plumber. To be licensed, he would have to have 2 years of training and certification at a community or vocational college, and being such a dumb bit, he is not the kind that can go back to school. Joe is so fake and such a joke! Looks like he was a McCain implant..! The guy would actually get more money back under Obama's Tax Plan than under McCain's Tax plan, and yet the moron still wants to vote for the Bush leaning McCain...!! Even the $100,000.00 small plumbing business he works for would also get more tax cuts under Obama than McCain, but yet still Joe the hard-headed moron would still want to elect McCain over Obama seemingly due to some sinister racial reasons...!!! Joe the Plumber Backs Claim That Obama Would Bring Death to Israel Joe Wurzelbacher, on his first campaign trail appearance for John McCain, says he agrees that a vote for Barack Obama would be "a vote for the death to Israel." FOXNews.com Joe Wurzelbacher, a.k.a. "Joe the Plumber," on Tuesday twice agreed with a claim from an audience member at a John McCain rally that "a vote for Barack Obama is a vote for the death to Israel." Wurzelbacher was hitting the campaign trail on behalf of McCain for the first time, joining former Rep. Rob Portman on a GOP bus tour through Ohio. At a stop in Columbus, he fielded the question on Israel from a self-identified Jewish senior citizen. The questioner said he was "concerned" with Barack Obama's associations and "It's my belief that a vote for Obama is a vote for the death to Israel." Wurzelbacher responded: "I do know that." The questioner then complained about Obama's tax policies and reiterated his Israel comment. "Well, you know what, I'll actually go ahead and agree with you on that one," Wurzelbacher said. "You know ... no, I agree with ya.'" Wurzelbacher's first trip to the podium as a McCain surrogate was freewheeling. He often apologized to reporters gathered in a flag store for talking from his gut. "I'm honestly scared for America," Wurzelbacher said. He later said Obama would end the democracy that the U.S. military had defended during wars. "I love America. I hope it remains a democracy, not a socialist society. ... If you look at spreading the wealth, that's honestly right out of Karl Marx's mouth," Wurzelbacher said. "No one can debate that. That's not my opinion. That's fact." Though "Joe the Plumber" has become a centerpiece of McCain's campaign in the closing days of the presidential race, McCain aides told FOX News the Republican nominee does not share Wurzelbacher's opinion on Obama's view toward Israel. Obama states on his Web site that he strongly supports the U.S.-Israel relationship, as well as Israel's right to defend itself and foreign assistance to the country. Obama has also visited Israel and met with the Israeli Primister and the cabinet and reassured the nation that he would support Israel.
