Faint Show Notes: Joe played a lot of his gunshot samples after 'Points Of Authority', causing Mike to say "Spray 'em down Joe!". At the end of 'In The End', Mike walks up with his guitar and hits a note on Joe's sampler right as Joe finishes his extended outro to the song. On 'Crawling', Mike tells the crowd, "You guys are on camera, so you guys have to sing it as loud as you can". Mike's keyboard wasn't set to the right pitch/tone on the 'What I've Done' intro. The acoustic guitar was not tuned properly for Mike for the first part he plays on 'The Little Things Give You Away'. It was corrected after the first loop. Mike gets the crowd to start clapping before 'Bleed It Out', but stops and starts them again when they go too fast. The band extended the 'Bleed It Out' bridge for the first time at this show. Mike instructs the crowd to sing with Chester on the bridge. On the intro to 'Faint', you can hear Mike say "That's the first time we tried that and I think you did better than we did." Other Notes: Linkin Park headlined for the 2nd time at Rock am Ring. There was a debate among fans on whether it was neccessary for the label, Warner Bros, to prevent the festival from webcasting Linkin Park. Bleed It Out Show Notes: Mike rapped verse 1 of 'Petrified' over the intro of 'Points Of Authority' and verse 1 of 'There They Go' over the outro. Jay-Z joined the band for 'Numb/Encore' and 'Jigga What/Faint'. Both versions were the same as the Madison Square Garden show in New York City earlier in the year. Mike did the first verse of 'Hands Held High' a cappella. He paused after the second line to try and get the crowd to join him. The band switched things up a bit for this show, moving 'From The Inside' up after 'One Step Closer', and moving 'Lying From You' down after 'Given Up'. 'Reading My Eyes' was also dropped. Chester mentioned that this was the biggest Projekt Revolution show to date. Other Notes: There were a number of problems with the the video screen behind the band. The problems persisted with the video during 'What I've Done' messing up, as well as an orange Linkin Park logo appearing out of place during the following song. The screen incorrectly displayed the backdrop for 'Faint' on 'Numb/Encore'. A few fans in the front started cheering for the band to play 'No Roads Left', which prompted Mike to shake his head... Consistent with the past, there was quite a lot of confusion surrounding the details for the LPU M&G, which of course resulted in some fans missing it. Rob had problems with his ride cymbal after 'Given Up'. Other bands at this show were InnerPartySystem, The Bravery, Enter Shikari, N*E*R*D, Pendulum, and Jay-Z. The show was supposed to be broadcasted live on various MTV channels in Europe. It was dropped off the schedule at the last minute most likely due to the release of the live CD/DVD from this show 'Road To Revolution'.
