Watch more at www.theyoungturks.com A teacher at a Marrero high school has been arrested after authorities say he was caught masturbating in a classroom by students and another teacher Wednesday. He was suspended without pay. Joey Lehrman, 22, of 701 N. Salcedo St., New Orleans, was booked with obscenity and taken to the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Gretna. He was expected to be released from custody late Thursday on $5,000 bond. Lehrman is an English teacher at L.W. Higgins High School on Lapalco Boulevard, said Beth Branley, a spokeswoman for the Jefferson Parish public school district. He was hired through the Teach for America program and had worked at the school since August. She said no other complaints have been lodged against him. According to an arrest report, three students and a substitute teacher saw Lehrman masturbating in his classroom Wednesday about 8 a.m. When Lehrman was questioned by deputies, he admitted exposing himself, but said he was applying lotion because of a medical condition, according to a news release from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office. He then admitted that he masturbated, according to the arrest report. Lehrman has no prior criminal record, according to authorities. Francina Walker, a 29-year-old South Carolina woman was arrested for prostitution after flashing breast at officer. Knife found in purse, screwdriver found in bra. According to the Tampa Police Department, Walker was arrested late Wednesday night after she allegedly attempted to flag down a police officer by exposing her breast. When the officer stopped, she reportedly offered to have sex with him for $20. After arresting Walker for prostitution, the officer performed a search which yielded a screwdriver in the woman's bra. Further investigation revealed that the woman was in possession of a push rod with cocaine residue and a knife inside her purse. When the woman was seated in the back seat of a police cruiser, she reportedly succeeded in rolling onto her back (seems she's been there before) and kicking out the rear class of the vehicle. Walker was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail on charges of prostitution, carrying a concealed weapon, criminal mischief, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. But Hoffmann admits he was less worried about the stolen cash than how he might look on the video-sharing site YouTube. Stampede! "What was going through my mind at that point was that the security tape is either going to show me run away and hide in the office or whack this guy in the head, so I just grabbed the cup and clocked the guy pretty hard," Hoffmann told The Record of Bergen County for Tuesday's editions. The incident happened Sunday evening when the robber came into the westbound Route 46 Dunkin' Donuts and ordered a pastry, according to Elmwood Park Police Chief Donald Ingrasselino. Once Hoffmann opened the register, the robber jumped over the counter and started taking cash. Police said Hoffmann grabbed the man's wrists while hitting him with the mug, which is used to hold tips. Hoffmann managed to scare away the robber, who made out with just $90 and left behind a baseball cap police are holding to test for DNA evidence. Police haven't arrested anyone, but described the robber as a white male in his 30s, with medium build, around 6 feet tall. The man, who police believe is also responsible for two other recent Dunkin' Donuts robberies in the area, has black hair and long sideburns. As for YouTube fame, Hoffmann said he'll put up the surveillance video himself when it becomes available. "There are only a few videos like that on YouTube now, so mine's going to be the best," he said. "That'll teach this guy." POST FALLS, Idaho (CBS/AP) A 28-year-old Post Falls woman faces charges that she had sex with a 14-year-old boy that she was hired to watch in August 2007. Summer Nelson was charged Monday with four counts of lewd conduct with a child. Court records say Nelson was the boy's babysitter and friend of the mother. Police say the abuse was reported in December 2008, after the boy's mother grew suspicious of Nelson's attention towards her oldest son. Investigators say Nelson told the boy's siblings that she was in love with their brother and asked the boy's mother for her blessing, according to KXLY. Detectives say Nelson and the boy had at least four sexual encounters. Nelson remains held in Kootenai County Jail on $50,000 bond. It was not immediately known if she had a lawyer. If convicted, Nelson could face up to life in prison. How about two teachers having sex with the same student... not just once, twice or three times. How about months and months of sex..... with both of them? Although both relationships occurred at separate times, that's exactly what Davis County prosecutors say happened at Bountiful Junior High in Bountiful, Utah. Valynne Bowers, 39, was arrested Thursday and Linda Nef, 46, was arrested Friday on allegations of repeatedly having sex with a student. The same 13-year-old student, according to Bountiful Police. Police say Bowers, who teaches math, and Nef, who teaches Utah studies and is acheerleading advisor, both confessed to having sex with the male student, according to Police Lt. Randy Pickett. Nef met with police on Thursday, admitting to having sex with the boy between Oct. 2007 to Dec. 2008. Bowers allegedly began having sex with the boy in December which continued until recently. Authorities learned of both sexual relationships during their meeting with Nef. Investigators say the relationships both began with each teacher began discussing personal problems with the student. Those discussions lead to text messages, which evolved into phone sex and then sexual assaults, said Pickett. Both women were booked into the Davis County Jail on rape and sodomy charges. Nef is scheduled to make her first court appearance on March 27 while Bowers is scheduled to be arraigned on March 16.
