Head and Scalp Oil Massage Part 2 up on 10/25/2011

This is a video of me playing with one of my best friend's hair. I do start with a short shoulder/back massage for about 5 minutes, but I then move into using my hands and a hair brush on her hair. I do some loose braiding and twirling in this video, but I keep it light so I can focus on providing a relaxing experience. I got a bit lost in my task while doing this video (thus it's length) and had no idea that so much time had passed. My client didn't seem to mind though. :) It's amazing how relaxing this can be for both people... especially when doing something as simple as playing with hair. And now for my normal line: I am NOT a professional! I just like to give people those wonderful tingly feelings that comes with ultimate relaxation. So, without further ado... please let the tingling commence! :)

This is a demonstration of a head and scalp massage with the addition of oil. Part 1 is simply the application of the oil to the scalp and hair. Part 2 is of the massage with the oil already in the hair. Since I was staying with my friend for a few days, we decided to do 2 massages. This is the 2nd of the 2 massages (the first being the hair brush head massage) that I did on her. Her hair is very fine but somewhat dry, so it absorbed the oil extremely well. She LOVED this massage. The only thing that she said when I was finished was, "wow!" I'm sorry that I had to split this one up, but it was over 20 minutes! I'll put part 2 up as soon as I edit it... which will probably be next week (Oct. 25ish, 2011). Also, sorry that the voice over is a bit loud. I'll try to correct that for the next one. Ok, so now I need some opinions! I'm entering new territory. What would you like to see next? A facial? A hand massage? A back/neck massage? Oh, can't forget this: I am not a professional! This is just a hobby of mine that I've decided to share with... everyone. :)

This is a video of a very light massage using the tips of my fingers and nails on my client's back. I softly speak the motions that I use during the massage. Its main purpose is to relax the client. I try several different patterns and use a variety of strokes to keep it from being monotonous. My client enjoyed this massage quite a bit, and I enjoyed being able to relax her. This back tickle massage was my first back tickle massage that I recorded, so it might not be new to some people... but even if it's not... I hope that you can still go to sleep by watching or listening to it! As always, I am not a professional. This is a head and ear massage for a guy who has short hair. This video features one of my really good friends who has some nerve damage. Therefore, I couldn't touch his neck or shoulders without possibly hurting him. So, instead I focused on the top of his head and ears. He has thick hair so it made it really easy to grab a hold of and really move his scalp. I don't massage too many of my guy friends, so I hope you enjoy this one! I tried shooting this video from two different angles although I'm not sure if I liked how it turned out. Feel free to let me know if you liked it or not. Oh, and I really didn't mean to record my gut... but... well, please ignore it. I'm still working on losing the baby fat. :) Up next... hair playing massage for a girl who has medium long hair. I think it turned out quite nice and hopefully you'll see it next month! After that... oh, yeah... you'll just have to wait. Muahahaha... (that's an evil laugh if you can't tell) Oh yes yes yes, can't forget to mention that I'm not a professional. My intent is to see how many computers/smart phones short out from the drool coming out of your mouth as your head rests on the keyboard/screen after you have fallen asleep while watching this video. :)

This Indian Head massage shows how a head massage can truly help a person relax. My client is a friend who asked for a head massage while we were having a girl's night out. I was happy to oblige. She started out quite tense but after only a couple of minutes, she had completely relaxed. She seemed to enjoy the mild/moderate techniques, so this is the type that I mainly used. At the end of the massage she asked me to keep on going, so I think that it was a success! Since we had quite a few distractions, I had to do some severe editing and chose to completely remove all the original sound. Someday I'll get a microphone so you don't have to turn the volume all the way up, but until then, I apologize for the lack of sound control. p.s. Please excuse any goofy faces. As I said, this was a much needed girls night out and we were being goofy.

Katrina has beautiful short layered hair. Her hair is being oil massaged by a hair stylist in saloon. This method of oiling is called champi.

I decided to bring in a model today to help me portray the lovely world of massage therapists. We go over a few head massage techniques, a lot of hair brushing and a bit of hair playing sprinkled throughout! I hope you guys like it! I must warn towards the end I get a little giggly.
