Day 18, Dumaguete City, Philippines - I pretty much stayed in all day and didn't do anything on this lovely day in the Philippines. I start filming at night time, when the freaks come out. Freaks being CC. He's jonesing to hit the bars. The wild, crazy bars in Sibulan. Where there's more girls than Angeles City. Oh shit, I just woke up from a dream.
So we first hit up the Jackpot Bar. It's funny the different feeling I get in these bars. In Angeles City, in some of the bars, I could just freely video tape everything. In these bars in Sibulan, you actually get the feeling that if they catch you with a camera, your throat will be slit on the spot, no questions asked.
Anyways, leaving the Jackpot bar and then we hit up Fantasy Nightclub. This one was probably my favorite just because they are the only one with a billard table. These bars in Sibulan have around 4-5 girls working a night (or so it seemed), so if there's no billard table, things get stale rather quickly.
CC leaves after this bar, and I run into a girl and a guy that tell me how spotlights are used to "erase clouds" and stop rain. Gotta love the Philippines. They inform me of a disco around the corner in which they are too scared to attend due to "gangs." So what do I do? I go alone, of course.
It wasn't as dangerous as they made it seem, although there was a small fight that broke out and the music and festivities stopped for a moment. I randomly met some people there that easily welcomed me into their group for drinks. I must have been pretty drunk because I forced this 19 year old girl to let me take a picture of her since I thought she looked 14.
I then leave the disco at closing time - I head out to the boulevard and then JolliBee.

Day 14 - Two weeks here in Dumaguete now. I decide that my motorbike isn't safe in this Filipino town. It's a very safe town, but the other neighbor ties his bike up at night. So I decide to have a ramp built so I can bring it inside the goat gate. He's wearing Air Force One sneakers that he apparently bought for 100 pesos. Are you serious?
I meet up with CC and we go out to lunch at Chin Loong Chinese Restaurant in Dumaguete. They've got pretty good food at good prices; check it out. I order the Beef Curry and CC gets some sort of chicken omelet. After that we shop around as a true gay couple and check out a clothes shop.
Back at the apartment and CC is asking about Filipino dating websites. Now it's time to head out for my Visa renewal. I find the Immigration Office; this was not an easy task. They really hide it in Dumaguete. After doing that I hit up the bread shop and try some "red pie," which is basically just food coloring. After filling myself up with unneeded carbs I hit the gym.
Then I finally come across the bike rental shop once again. It's been two weeks I've been trying to find it. I know my way around Angeles City, but Dumaguete is a whole new animal. I exchange my bike for a Honda. It's not automatic, so I need to learn how to shift.
Back home and I cook some Filipino fish and broccoli. Then I head out to Sibulan, which is the city that has the bars from the other night. I don't bar hop, though. I see the public market and then I head back to Dumaguete. What else is there to do at midnight except play with random dogs in the street for 20 minutes? Goodnight.

Waking up in the Philippines, ain't it great? Time for my protein shake and apple cider vinegar. I eat some tuna fish, I battle with the ants and then head out to my laundry shop Ever Fresh. After that it's on to Robinson's Mall.
I check out the pizza shop on the second floor and chat with a couple Filipino girls, and then I end up heading out to the Hayahay restaurant for the first time. It's by far the best pizza in Dumaguete that I've had. Simply amazing and masarap. They also sell fresh lobster and crab at this place.
After that I look for the Sandpiper bar...

CC is coming over to my Filipino apartment, and I remind him that we have a date later on in the evening to view some beautiful Filipina bar girls at the Checquers bar in Sibulan, Negros Oriental, Philippines.
After that stern reminder, I head out to the beach for a birthday party. There's lots of food, cake, dog, and hard doggie dick. I take a view of the Philippines ocean and then head back to their house, which is really far in the "jungle" as I called it.
Then it's out to the bike shop to get my original motorbike back, and then off to Robinson's Mall to buy the Terro ant bait. I also can't resist the cheap ice cream promo going on. I get back to the apartment and use the Terro. I'm so excited for this. It seems to be working like a charm.
CC comes over and we head out to Sibulan to check out the Filipino bar girls again. We start off at Chequers bar to see some Filipino girls dance and then we head out to Sweet Angels. For some reason, CC calls it quits after two bars, but I continue on to the Magic Bar alone. I gotta tell ya, it's a pretty strange feeling going from the Angeles City bars to this. It's like I'm in the Twilight Zone. I buy some balut and then head out to Dunkin Donuts.
After stuffing my face with that, I head to Jollibee to do some more damage to my intestinal tract.
What am I? I'm "willing to wait."
02:00What Do Foreigners Think of the Philippines ori...

From Yahoo Answers:
I am not a Foreigner but I think I know what is on their mind:
Philippines is the best place to shop, shop for young girls from remote areas for marriage
They can be good cooks, babysitter, house cleaners, gardeners - the reason why even most of them are university graduates it is very likely that they land working as Maids abroad.
An all-Filipino dream is to immigrate to the US/UK or Australia
The Philippines as a whole is a good place, but the people are opportunist especially on Foreigner, thinking that they are walking ATMs charge them exorbitantly on goods and services provided them.
There are so many good places to visit in the Philippines, but there are also a lot of places which is a no-go for foreigners as they would be kidnapped, or worst killed, by insurgents who claim that what they do is to fight for the oppressed Filipino. Don't ask me what kidnapping of a Foreigner has got to do with this for I don't know the answer.
The Philippines is a Summer Country, with lots of beaches with white sands, the best of times to visit are on the months of JAN-APR. But not beyond this months, when the sea and river water become so high that would cause the main cities flooded, as they are clogged with trash and garbage, thrown by people on the river banks. The garbage are highly piled up that they have made a mountain of it, called the Smokey Mountain, which is now the focus of conquest of many mountaineers.
The Philippines is a Catholic Country, ruled by the Catholic Church, controlled and manipulated by the Catholic Church. Run by the Catholic Church. For a politician to get a sure win on elections, he must have affiliated himself with Catholic Church, as the leaders of this religion are the ones nominating whom its religious flocks of puppets would need to vote. The Senate, is ruled by the Catholic Church and the congress as well. An enacted law to pass has to have the blessings of the Catholic Church.
The Philippines is now preparing to provide its citizen with portable oxygen tanks, to ensure that everyone gets Fresh Air. The air pollution caused by black smoke emitted by vehicles are so thick that one might think that its already midnight even at noon. The stench of urine can be smelled everywhere, for Filipinos have the habit of peeing on walls, Adults and kids alike. And, do be very careful of your steps for you might slipped on the pathways, and on the streets, for they also have the habit of spitting anywhere.
The best thing about the Philippines is that, it is where you can find people drinking on the streets, aisles, street corners. All they need is a small table, wooden chairs and the event is on, it don't matter for what celebration for they can think of any, like it could be a dog's b-day, who will land on a plate a few hours later. It is a 24 hours affair with the last man standing considered as the Man of the day! Among my mates and buddies, I always end up as the winner!
So I guess that's about it for now!
I'd like to add more but my head is spinning already, and my drinking buddies are all talking in English again, meaning that this Gin we are drinking is Genuine!
Lets drink to that
Cheers
And, I forget to add , when you want to buy souvenirs you can get a lot of cheap items here .. for this is the land of DVD movies copies, fake Rolex watches, fake Nokia and Blackberry Cell phones.. name it, Philippines has it.
"When In Rome, do as the Romans do" and When In Manila... is our way of showing you the cool & awesome stuff in the Philippines. It's as beautiful as Indonesia, equally affordable as Thailand and even more amazing than Mars! Come find out what treasures you can find, "When In Manila."

Oh shit. A huge water eruption in the apartment. The faucet broke off in the bathroom and I can't seem to stop it. It's out of control. What kind of trip to the Philippines is this turning into? I head out and hop in a trike to City Hardware, Dumaguete City.
I need to get a new faucet. I see an expensive one, and there's not a chance. Ahh, there's the cheap one. I get back home and replace the faucet head.
Continuing on with this wonderful trip to the Philippines, I head out for some food. First stop is the BDO bank for some cash. Off to Highway 10 for some more Kinky Kuya action that you all love.
I tell Kinky Kuya that soon "Ronaldo" will be coming, aka "salamiha" here on SYK. I head out from torturing Kinky Kuya and get onto the street.
Time to pay my electric bill for this trip to the Philippines. I head over to Hotel Palwa, because that's where the deed is done. I pay that and then head off to Robinson's Mall.
My trip to the Philippines lands me in the meat aisle. I buy a half kilo of Filipino ground pork. On the way back I stop off at the small store and buy a Jaz soda. I take a little nap and then head out to Zanzi Bar with my friend for their anniversary party.
After a few hours out I head back home to eat some leftover spaghetti. But look at all that fat. Yucks. Ngeks. Ah what a great trip to the Philippines.

Today is the world famous Wild Orchid Resort's Beauty Pageant. What is this you ask? Well, a bunch of the bars get together (I'm not sure which exactly) and they put on a show at the Wild Orchid Resort, one of the nicest hotels and resorts in Angeles City. It's located on Santos Street, formerly known as Blow Row to you veterans.
What do the girls do? Well, they look sexy of course. Walking around in their bikinis, playing in the pool & splashing in the water, trying to sell raffle tickets, and doing everything else fun and naughty.
This day was super hot beyond belief in the Philippines. It was a dam scorcher. Ouch. I still remember it. Well, enough talk, time to see the sexy Filipinas strut their stuff for you SYKos.

Waking up on my last day here, now leaving for Manila and then off to Dumaguete. Oatmeal for breakfast. Off to SM mall. I'm not happy with my new camera and its shakiness so I'm testing different stabilizing walking/holding styles. I hit up Healthy Options for my Apple Cider Vinegar because I fear there will be none in Dumaguete.
Robi takes me to his new place to check it out. He's moving out of our love nest since I'm skipping town. The AC guys come to install his new air conditioner, and then I head to the bus terminal. I reach Cubao and get to my hotel, the Eurotel. Finally I've arrived and I'm about to jizz my pants due to the fact that I'm about to feed myself Taco Bell.
I hit up the Gateway Mall and enjoy. I also spot Burger King and Wendy's and I'm a little upset that I can't fit it all in before I leave. Back to the hotel, and then back out to Taco Bell again - yes, I'm insane, I know. I watch the movie Source Code and then head back to the hotel to get ready for tomorrow.
