Went to neighboring town, Pagsanjan to see if our office (GSIS) is still standing. And it still does. Unlike before when Typhoon Milenyo came...it got beaten pretty good. Calamity Loan any1? Jolibee's Face went missing (near our office) ! The railings from the newly re-constrcuted bridge there were also swept away by the heavy flooding.
2:45 am. The wind is blowing hard! The heavy rain...non-stop. The name "Typhoon Santi". I knew our town would be in trouble once again (after last month's devastation by Typhoon Ondoy). I still haven't slept. Morning came and so's the floods. Laguna was badly hit, along with Cavite, Batangas and Bicol. In Laguna, towns heavily affected were here (Sta. Cruz), Binan, Majayjay, (now isolated due to flooding of it's 3 bridges), Pagsanjan, Los Banos, Victoria (rumored to have a tornado), Calamba, Pila, even high parts like Liliw and Nagcarlan. This is the first time I saw floods running in front of our street! I heard my Grandparents house (Bonifacio St. near 711 in front of the Immaculate concepcion Parish) where my twin brother is staying had a bit of flooding inside the house. In my Parents house (in Pg. Guevarra St near PNB in front of the KAPITOLYO), the flood came in on the garage only. My in-laws (here in PAGSAWITAN) got some inside their house too. But our house (in Pagsawitan near my in-laws) is lucky...the flood stayed in the street, until it subsided. The flood is due to the heavy rain and the the 2 dams (Botocan and Caliraya) releasing waters which caused the river to rise up...thus ending in our streets. Funny...just before ALL SAINTS DAY was SANTI'S DAY. Sorry for the crappy video shot. I was only using a cellphone camera. My handycam ran out of batteries, and we have a brownout.

Sorry for the crappy video shot. It was dark (no electricity) and the vidcam battery is low so I just shot away using nightplus mode. I couldn't go out bec. of heavy winds and rain mists. I just couldn't sleep. Morning came and so's the floods. Laguna was badly hit, along with Cavite, Batangas and Bicol. In Laguna, towns heavily affected were here (Sta.
