Kidd Video was a Saturday morning cartoon created by DiC Entertainment in association with Saban Entertainment. Its original run was on NBC from 1984 to 1985, but continued in reruns on the network until 1987, when CBS picked the show up. Reruns have also aired in syndication. The title sequence explained the plot; Kidd Video and his band of the same name (played by live-action performers in the first half of the title sequence) were kidnapped by a villain named Master Blaster, and transported to Master Blaster's home dimension, a cartoon world called The Flipside. They were rescued by a fairy named Glitter, and subsequently spent each episode of the series either helping to free the denizens of the Flipside from Master Blaster's rule, or trying to find a way back to the "real world". Master Blaster, who seemed to be a cartoonization of a corrupt rock manager or music executive, flew around the sky in his floating castle, which resembled a giant jukebox, and his henchmen were a group of anthropomorphic cats called The Copycats, so-called because they lip-synched their songs. Upset with his brother, Jules, Verne runs away from home using the De Lorean. Doc, Marty and Jules go back in time to find him during the Civil War on February 11, 1864 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. When General Tannen's armies tie up Marty, Verne gasps. Jules and Verne end up on opposite sides of the war; Verne is recruited by the Confederates and Jules in the Union army. During a big battle, both armies see the boys meet and huddle together in the center of the battlefield. The soldiers realize that they are fighting their own brothers, cousins, uncles and nephews. Both parties walk away from the battle without fighting. (less)

From well-of-souls.com Episode 2 - The Wish World Umbra, after suffering yet another defeat at the hands of the Orbots against Kattron in the Emerald nebula, devises a plan to use Ohno's insecurity about being "only a robot" against them. His shape-shifting agent Plasmus lures Ohno to the Wish World, where (at her request) she is transformed into a human. Meanwhile, Umbra has opened a hyper-warp in the orbital path of the moon Doranis, a key United Planets defense location. Dia is sent to investigate, but the storms caused by the hyper-warp force her to crashland her cruiser on Doranis. Mighty Orbots is called in to help; unfortunately, Ohno in her human form can't provide the ignition key the Orbots need to successfully unite. They head back to the Emerald nebula in the hopes of using the nebula's energies (channeled through Bo and Bort) to return Ohno to her robot form; but they are waylaid by Plasmus, who has also absorbed the nebula's energy, and grown to a gigantic size. All the while, Doranis' orbit carries it (and Dia) ever deeper into the hyper-warp and oblivion... (less)
