(more)Test and comparison of Casio Exilim EX-FS10 video capabilities. Length: 25 sec. Size: 21.7 MB 30-210fps is a feature that starts in 30fps, then when you press a button, changes to 210fps. No sound in this mode, even at 30fps. Purposely boring, only for people who are considering or have the camera, and want to see how some of the features work. Clips were shot March 20, 2010, at approximately 3:30 PM, facing south, in the Midwest of the USA. Conditions were overcast with a moderate amount of snow falling in all the shots. All clips were converted using Quick Time Pro using the movie to ipod setting for ease of upload. Information tested for included with all the clips will be file size as recorded on the flash drive, length of clip, camera setting, and quality setting. I purposely shot on an overcast day to illustrate how the camera performs under poor lighting conditions. I purchased the camera after watching reviews on youtube that clued me in on how the camera performed, and it has performed almost exactly as I expected. It is not a poor light camera, it needs a lot of light, even when shooting in standard format. In HD and slow motion, if you want decent results, you must have an extremely well lit subject. Again, based on the valuable reviews that I watched, I was aware of these limitations, and based on the affordability of the camera purchased it anyway, and am happy with its performance.
