Together with his band The Destroyers he has become as much a part of American culture as the 4th of July, Moms apple pie or Rock n Roll itself. 2003 is the bands thirtieth anniversary and sees them in sparkling form. The new album, their first for Eagle Records, includes Thorogoods signature guitar licks and trademark vocals, ably backed by the Destroyers who play with passion and intensity. The title track is written by John Lee Hooker and there are also covers of tracks by Bo Diddley (You Dont Love Me, You Dont Care), Chuck Berry (Move It) and Eddie Cochran (My Way) alongside Thorogood originals. The album has been produced by Jim Gaines, who produced Santanas multi-Grammy award winning album Supernatural. Having concentrated his work in the USA for many years, Thorogood has made a conscious decision to push this album in Europe. He and the band will be coming over for a full tour in the autumn. (Bill Butler Music, Pharma Song Music) Steff was born in Drammen, Norway in 1975, but grew up in Modum, Norway, where he developed a deep appreciation for and love of music. He wanted to be a classical violinist but became a guitar picker and a singer. After moving to Drammen city he developed his skills as a guitarist. He became a renowned musician in the district and has been hired as a session musician in many occasions. In 2007 he records his first album in Nashville, Tennessee with the best musicians available in the music industry today. Some of the musicians participating in the session were guitar picker Brent Mason, Paul Franklin on steele guitar, Rob Hajacos on fiddle and Eddie Bayers on drums to mention a few. After recording his first album his career started to escalade. In 2008 he signed a record deal with Universal Music and won a music competition organized by the local newspaper giving him a lot of publicity.
