It also appears on NWA's Greatest Hits with an extended mix and The Best of NWA It was voted number 19 on About.com's Top 100 Rap Songs. It along with Fuck tha Police are arguably NWA's most well known singles. Is ranked number 6 on VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop. A video was made in 1989 of the song. It features Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Eazy-E, MC Ren, Krazy Dee, and DJ Yella. The video shows various parts of the city of Compton. During the video police officers are shown arresting the members of NWA. It also shows the members trying to flee but the police eventually catch them. The ending scene shows Eazy-E in a low rider driving along the police van trying to communicate but the police instead just look at him while residents of Compton throwing rocks at the police van that is transporting the members to jail. In the clean version of the video, profanities have edited lyrics by rappers voice, including words like "fuck" changed to "get" from time to time with different words as well.
