We're KICKIN off today's show with the RUNWAY LOOKS from BCBG MAX AZRIA FASHION SHOW. And I have to say, I am LOVING the ENTIRE Fall 2012 collection. After a few seasons, we're seeing the continuation of the color-blocking and geometric print trend still going strong. But this time around, BCBG is creating a new take on these trends by pairing them up with fur-trimmed cropped jackets, vests and oversized clutches. We saw a SERIES of silky, chiffon dresses that were long, sleek and flowing and nearly every look was color-blocked. The color combinations were fresh and unexpected... there were mixes of sheer neutrals and rusty shades of green, yellow, blue, and burgundy, which gave the collection an overall retro, 70s feel. My favorite part of the collection were the fur accents which were found on the clutches, scarves and jacket sleeves, which I think added a chic, rich, AND sophisticated look to the overall collection. The designer Max Azria himself described his collection as cool and relaxed, with asymmetrical prints and a longer look, which is exactly what we saw on the runway.
