Something extremely exciting happened this week. I was at a writer round for a Christmas party in Nashville and guess who was in the audience? Melanie! The Melanie! How awesome is that? If you aren't familiar with Melanie she is a legendary folk rock artist that head lined Woodstock back in the late 60's. You're probably most familiar with her song, "Brand New Key" due to it's recent airing on HP's printer commercial with the strolling baby.
