Hey everybody, I'm Back!!! I missed you guys so so much. I hope you have all been well. As promised, here is my South Korean haul video! I had quite a lot of clothes, makeup and skincare products to go through so yes, it's a mega long video!! Sorry if I was speaking too fast, I was worried about the video being too long! Hey my buttercups! I'm back with another DIY Beauty video! I'm gonna share an amazing beauty remedy that your skin is gonna LOVE. It's a real skin-saver especially for blemishes, oily skin, dehydrated skin and even acne scars. Best thing about it? It's very easy to make and highly affordable as well. I also share how you can create your own rice facial scrub and even blotting powder. My skin has been breaking out like crazy lately leaving me with clusters of pimples along my jaw line arghh. I even developed some dark spots too bohoo. Luckily, this remedy is slowly calming down my skin again. It's also getting really hot & sunny in Hong Kong so this mask will help to protect my skin from sun damage & pollution. Definitely one of my fav remedies right now!!!! Slap me some skin! *high 5* The weather is getting warmer and warmer by the day and it's just too hot to wear the hair down now (No thanks to humid frizzy hair getting stuck on our backs please). Helllooo my sunshine babies! Most of you don't know this but I'm pretty short sighted. Out of all my friends & family- I'm amongst the few with the worse eyesight o_O. So I really do understand how tricky it can be applying makeup whilst hardly being able to see a thing. This sophisticated look complements all frames (yes, thick frames, thin frames, upswept frames, no frames etc) and it's perfect for everyday and matches all outfits. I did a 'Makeup for Glasses' tutorial a couple years back and that tutorial was mainly focused on eyeliner so this year, I wanted to something more versatile for everyday. For me, this look (rounded & high smokey eyes) complements glasses the most. The products and techniques used are all tailored to be 'Glasses-friendly'. Hope you guys enjoy the look and even if you don't wear glasses, you can still rock off the look anyway. You know what guys? I struggled filming this because I couldn't tell if the camera was focused and it took me like 20 seconds to look for certain makeup products each time! I got sooo frustrated lol. Hey guys, Thank you so much for the positive feedback from my last painting video. Some of you were asking for more painting videos to come so I vlogged my most recent painting lesson from Tim Gagnon. It's my last misty forest lesson =( I give all credits of this painting to Tim Gagnon. It was his guidance that led to the completion of this painting. I can't explain how much your comments meant to me. It really motivates me to improve and maybe someday- maybe I can become a true artist by selling my work. If not- teaching art will be just as rewarding ^_^. I have so much more to learn and it's given my life so much more direction and inspiration. Hey everybody, This is our first monthly fav video for year 2012. Here are my fav picks for the month of January. Something different? Yes, I dyed my hair back to dark brown (Liese hair dye in Chestnut Brown). When I first started to make tutorials years ago, my hair was this color and this hairstyle (less layers). It's like I'm going back to the past (but not as young lol) I have been staying over at my dad's apartment to spend time with granny bubz & my big sister. Because it's in the countryside, I got a few mosquito bites. One is on my cheek so it's kind of raised and red. Hey baby angels ^.^ Boohoo for sick days! I've been struck with the cold for the past 2 weeks. My nose is so blocked that I struggle getting sleep these days. Im mega exhausted and kinda bummed out but it's ok, we all get sick. We just need to get lots of rest, drink lots of water and take medicine. It also inspired me to do a Makeup for Sick Days tutorial hehee. Figured this might come in handy for this time of the year. This is really just an everyday look that targets the problematic areas of the flu (dry skin, red nose, pale lips, puffy eyes etc). In fact, this look can also be worn for tired days too. We'll all want to stay home in our pjs and whine all day but there's gonna be days where we'll need to go out (and face people O_O). It could be for work, school or errands. I don't know about you guys but when I'm sick, the last thing I want to do is to spend too much effort or time doing my makeup. I only have two criteria: 1. Sick friendly makeup. Hey bubbiful ones! Time for another hair tutorial. I'll demonstrate step by step how to create Chic & Sophisticated hair. I often see singers, models and famous actresses in HK, S.Korea or even in Europe wear their hair in huge quiffs/poofs. The added height makes the face appear sharper and slimmer (believe it or not). I demonstrate 4 possible hairstyles which are all sophisticated, sassy and edgy. One particular style is inspired by Sandara from 2NE1. You guys don't see me show my entire face often because I have a high forehead and I do have a round face lol. Therefore I have always been self conscious I guess. However, my mum always tells me to clip my fringe up because I look fresher and more awake. We will always be our own harsh critics. She is right tho- you will def look more fresh-faced with these hairstyles because your cheekbones will stand out. This is probably the ONLY tutorial where I really 'tease' my hair. You guys can understand why. I don't like teasing my hair often because it just isn't good for the hair. I recommend teasing hair for special occasions only. Konnichiwa guys ^_^ As promised- I filmed lots of footage from my trip to Japan for you guys. So come with me and follow me on my journey to Japan ^_^. On 4th December; I woke up to see a post-it note on my mirror. It was a treasure trail prepared by Tim. I followed all of the clues and the last clue was an itinerary & Yen note. I'M GOING TO JAPAN FOR MY BIRTHDAY!! Although I only got to spend 4 full days in Japan- we managed to do/see countless beautiful sightings. Japan is breathtaking. We didn't go to Tokyo because I wanted to experience the authentic and peaceful side of Japan (like how i imagine it in my head). I will definitely visit Tokyo in the future but I wanted to see Osaka/Kyoto first. I wanted to see Zen gardens, temples and geishas. Everything was even more beautiful than I imagined. It was a wonderful journey and we managed to visit some of the greatest temples on earth and eat delicious japanese food. People were very warm and welcoming. I will definitely visit Japan again and I would recommend anybody to visit the country once in their life time. They have a beautiful culture. Big thank you to my lovely boyfriend Tim for being so sweet and romantic. It was a wonderful surprise and I'll never forget our amazing trip together in Japan. I hope you guys enjoy this video. Hey everybody ^_^ As promised, here is lots of video footage combined together while I went shopping with my sister April. Kinda like a Vlog? lol. She was looking for a place to shop that is cheap and cheerful so I took her to Mong Kok (Exit D2 from MTR mall) and then I took her to Trendy Land. Hong Kong has sooo many different places so hopefully I can take you guys with me. If you guys enjoy this- there will be episode 2. Maybe next time it wil be about beauty products specifically? *Shrugs*. So come with me and I'll take you guys with us. Places we like to eat, shop and chill in general. Hey cuppiecakes! I've been meaning to film last week but was recovering from the cold. So don't mind the tired face. Damn my low immune system. I know I've done a lot of hair curling hair tutorials in the past. I was kind of reluctant to do another one since they are so repetitive lol but I hope you guys still enjoy this quick one. It's a technique I now use when curling my hair so the curls are evenly distributed. I've been wearing my hair curly for my recent tutorials you guys have been asking for a tutorial so here it is XD Pps. Did you spot Chubbisaur? XD Chubbi just got spayed recently. Hey guys, Here is another nail video ^.^ I was inspired to try out this panda design after seeing some pictures on the internet. Being chinese, of course the panda is my favourite animal. What's not to like? They're sooo cute being all fluffy and round. This nail tutorial is very easy and all you really need is two nail polishes (black and white). It's a series of dabbing and as you can see- my first attempt worked out pretty well. Quick and easy. No brushes required. Just want to point out there that the concept idea is definitely not mine so certainly don't want to take credit for it. Infact, I'm not sure who invented it first because there are many takes on it already but figured I'll show my stab at it and how I draw my pandas.
